There's one thing I didn't write about in my original log.
It is my personal feelings about an importance of meaning and kinds of meanings encapsulated in art. I'm going to explore this topic a bit further now.
Should there be a meaning (in art)? And what kind of meanings are more desireable?
I mean propaganda art has a strong meaning. Do we want more propagandistic visuals? You can have a sentiment for an old propaganda stylistics but it's not what I mean. On the other hand is a beautiful landscape meaningless? Is searching for form and color in abstraction meaningless? Sometimes a personal persue of what hounts an artist is the meaning, sometimes it's a story told by gesture of a hand or light unhiding form of an object, sometimes the whole meaning lays in a viewer being touched by the mood that a painting gave to him or her.

To moje osobiste odczucia na temat wagi znaczenia/sensu i rodzajów znaczeń/sensu zawartych w sztuce. Zajmę się teraz tym tematem nieco głębiej.
Czy powinien istnieć sens (w sztuce)? I jakie rodzaje znaczenia są bardziej pożądane?
Dla przykładu sztuka propagandowa ma silne znaczenie. Czy chcemy więcej propagandowych wizualizacji? Można mieć sentyment do starej propagandowej stylistyki, ale nie o to mi chodzi. Z drugiej strony, czy piękny krajobraz nie ma na prawdę znaczenia? Czy poszukiwanie formy i koloru w abstrakcji nie ma sensu? Czasem osobiste poszukiwanie tego, co prześladuje artystę ma właśnie najgłębszy sens. Czasem jest to opowieść opowiedziana gestem ręki lub światłem odkrywającym formę przedmiotu, czasem całe znaczenie tkwi w widzu wzruszonym nastrojem, jaki dał mu/jej obraz.
